Angels of Courage made exclusively for  Children & Families of Iowa

Children & Families of Iowa is proud to present the Angels of Courage, a series created by Isabel Bloom® LLC exclusively for Children & Families of Iowa. Inspired by true stories of courage from victims of domestic violence, each figure represents the courage victims have to create new lives for themselves: Courage to Soar, Courage to Dream, Courage to Grow, Courage to Love and now Courage to Shine.

When you purchase an Angel of Courage, you are helping restore hope for victims of domestic violence served by Children & Families of Iowa. Our programs for victims of domestic violence offer help, healing and hope through safe shelter, outreach and community education. A portion of the proceeds from each Angel sold will go directly to helping women, children and families who are being served by our domestic violence programs right now.

	Courage to Shine Released July 2009 Courage to Shine, the final Angel of Courage, represents the courage it takes to shine, even in the darkest of times. She has a beautiful crown of stars and comes with a candle to light the way.   A limited number of Courage to Shine Angels with a painted copper crown will be available exclusively from Children & Families of Iowa beginning July 13, 2009. 	Courage to Love Released July 2008 Courage to Love represents the courage it takes to love when your heart and spirit have been broken. 	Courage to Grow Released July 2007 This charming figurine represents the courage victims of domestic violence need to plant new seeds and grow despite the pain in their pasts and the challenges they face. 	Courage to Soar Released August 2005 Released for the first time at Tango on the Terrace, CFI’s annual gala event benefiting our programs for victims of domestic violence, Courage to Soar was extremely popular. Courage to Soar depicts an angel standing proud, ready to step forward and soar. She was inspired by the courage victims of domestic violence must have to move forward and begin their lives anew.
