Fill the Mayflower ‑ Donate Your Gently Used Household Items
As you spring clean, help fill the Mayflower by donating new or gently used household items. Donations such as furniture, kitchen items, bed linens and small appliances will be accepted. Monetary donations will also be accepted. This year's Fill the Mayflower event will be held Friday, May 13, 4 - 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 14, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the southwest corner of the Valley West Mall Parking lot.

Dr. Kevin Bloyer of Bloyer Chiropractic & Wellness donates a percentage of his proceeds to Children and Families of Iowa
Over the course of the year, Dr Bloyer donated more that $3,100. The funds will help Iowa's vulnerable children and families through our five main program areas: domestic violence services, teen programs, early childhood development services, mental health and family centered services.

Nationwide Insurance Foundation Provides Major Lead Gift to Children & Families of Iowa Campaign
Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) has secured the first lead gift for their Building Futures Capital Campaign. The Nationwide Insurance Foundation announced that their commitment of $400,000 will be directed towards improvements for CFI’s Domestic Violence Center.
